On the morning of September 30, BLVD Pizza and Sincerely June in Beach Haven suffered a devastating fire. While the full extent of the damage was still being assessed, two local businesses and the people behind them were suddenly facing an enormous challenge.
This fundraiser was organized by Okie’s Butcher Shop and LBI Source to support BLVD Pizza, owned by Mike Franzoni, and Sincerely June, owned by Kasey Vareb, along with their teams.
Our relationship with the beneficiaries is rooted in our shared connection to Long Beach Island. Okie’s Butcher Shop has been part of this island for 46 seasons, and we believe in the principle that small business supports small business.
These are members of our local business community, and we want to do what we can to help. The funds raised through this campaign are intended to provide financial support to BLVD Pizza and Sincerely June and the people affected by the fire.
Okie’s Butcher Shop and LBI Source are organizing this effort on their behalf, not raising money for themselves. Funds will be distributed to the intended beneficiaries through a shared bank account between BLVD Pizza and Sincerely June.
Long Beach Island is built on generations of families, friendships, local businesses, and people who show up for one another. When one of our own needs help, we have an opportunity to turn that support into something tangible.
If you’re able to contribute, any amount helps. If you can’t donate, sharing this fundraiser can help it reach someone who can. Thank you for helping us support BLVD Pizza, Sincerely June, their teams, and our LBI community. Small business supports small business. We take care of one another. ❤️
