This is Blue. She is a 6-year-old Border Collie mix whose owner suddenly passed away. I trained her last year and liked her owner, and he loved Blue, so I offered to let her stay at my house while we looked for a new home. Her owner was single and retired. He and Blue lived in the country and spent a lot of time together.

I had her for a couple of months, and her eye started looking bad. The vet said it was probably cancer. She had the eye removed last week, and it was sent out for a biopsy. She is doing great, and the swelling is gone already. This was an unexpected expense, and I am asking for some help with the cost of the surgery. Most of you know I am usually the one offering assistance, whether it is my time or my services. The shoe is on the other foot.

Her owner passed away from Anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease, and Blue was recently diagnosed with Anaplasmosis! Thank you in advance for your help.
