Six months ago, my cousin Bianca found that she has End Stage Renal Failure. This is the last stage of chronic kidney disease, and dialysis or a kidney transplant are the only options to keep her alive.

After going in for routine doctor appointments for high blood pressure and migraines, she found out about her severe kidney damage, and the doctors' best guess is that it was caused by an autoimmune disease related to a misdiagnosed early childhood illness.
Since then, she has been to what seems like an endless amount of doctors appointments. She has dialysis three time a week, four hours each time. She's had a number of invasive procedures and surgeries done and constantly is going through physical and emotional pain.

At 27 years old, she never could have imagined that this is where her life would be right now. She wrote in a post, "While many of my friends are graduating, getting married, having children, traveling, or going out and having fun, my whole life now revolves around my health and trying to make it on to the kidney transplant list. "
With great joy, she found out recently that she made it onto the transplant waitlist. With this comes many challenges and because of her constant need to be in and out of the hospital, she's had to miss a lot of work.
Our goal is to help Bianca cover her finances for up to 7 months in order to lower her stress level while she gets these life-saving medical procedures.
She's not able to go into work after surgeries and constantly has to cut back on her hours. In the last two months alone, she's already had four surgeries and more are scheduled to come. All contributions will go towards her monthly living expenses and any remaining will go towards her medical bills.
Please help us in supporting her through this journey. Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and sharing it with your social networks.
