Hello, my name is Bernard Carpenter. Anyone who knows me is well aware of the fact that it's extremely difficult for me to ask for any kind of assistance, especially financial assistance but I'm doing exactly that; asking for financial assistance. In May of 2023 I suffered congestive heart failure. But let me tell you about the God we serve. I was scheduled for a standard check up with my primary care physician on this day. I was in his office when I suffered the attack. I woke up in a hospital bed. By God's grace, I came through that ordeal, but on January 18th 2024 I was diagnosed with stage four lymphoma and had to undergo intense chemotherapy. The cancer ravished my body, but didn't dampen my spirt nor my faith in God.

Due to my combined illnesses my job could no longer hold my position, even though I had been with the same employer for nearly 20 years.

I've gone through all of my savings and my 401K which is why I'm reaching out to you now. I'm self-paying for my medical benefits as well as a mortgage, car payment, etc.
