On February 14, 2025, Ben was in a car accident which has left him paralyzed from his chest down. We are both very grateful that his mistake did not cost him his life. He had surgery on his spine and multiple procedures to his belly, which ultimately led to pneumonia and an infection. Finally, on March 5, 2025, he was released from Trauma to the Rehabilitation center. He will be at the inpatient rehabilitation center for a month. We do not know what his new normal will be like.

No one ever likes to ask for help, but I am struggling both financially and mentally. I am trying my best to keep us afloat. Not only are the monthly bills piling up, but the daily expenses while travel to and from the hospital. Anything helps at this time as we are uncertain of what the next few months will look like.

3/07 UPDATE: After 20 days in the hospital Connor finally got to come and see Ben!! This was such a heartwarming moment for all of us. We appreciate all the support and donations we have received so far. So many have reached out and shared our story. Please keep sharing, donating and praying!
