Our dear Bennie McAlister Harvey has been courageously battling Sarcoma cancer for nine long years. It's been an incredibly arduous journey, and she has faced every challenge with unwavering strength and spirit. Recently, the doctors here in California delivered heartbreaking news: they have exhausted all conventional treatment options, offering only the grim prospect of leg amputation with no guarantee of eradicating the cancer.

However, a new beacon of hope has emerged! On May 21st, Bennie traveled to the renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, to explore alternative treatments. There, she underwent testing for several immune therapy trials that hold the potential to send her cancer into remission. We are overjoyed to share that Bennie qualified and has been chosen for one of these groundbreaking trials!

This is truly a miraculous opportunity, and we are immensely grateful that the immune therapy trials themselves are covered by the trial sponsors. However, the significant costs associated with travel and lodging to and from Houston are not. Bennie will be required to be in Texas every three weeks for approximately a week at a time to receive these vital treatments.
