Hello Family & Friends,

I would like to introduce the beautiful Bella. Bella captured all our hearts as she came into my family home in March of 2012. If you ask me, she rescued us. Bella has kept up with my family and still gathers all her strength to keep any of us company by talking to us, asking for a snack, or simply to scoot over so she can come and cuddle. Bella is present for all holidays, birthdays, and even times of loss. Her warm eyes and gentle demeanor serve as the best comfort to bring a smile to your face. She is a sweetheart, a real angel. Her favorite treat is bacon bits. Her favorite song is the happy birthday song; she walks and prances around family members just absorbing the good vibes. I call it the "cha-cha" when she dances around -- I cha-cha step too.

Bella's health throughout the years has been great until recently. Her breast area shows tumors growing, so her vet visits are more frequent to monitor how fast, how big, and any additional testing. Dr. B helped look at options for Bella and, of course, among those options is looking into quality of life. The topic of quality of life in a pet is the hardest discussion to think about, let alone to have. While monitoring her activity and daily lifestyle, I have prayed for clarity to make the right decision and observed Bella daily, really checking in with my girl. And I have to say, Bella is a strong dog. In my heart and the doctor's report, she is a fighter, period. At this time, the tumors growing on her breast need to be removed. She shows discomfort, and I would do anything to help her live a long, fulfilling life. With that, I have chosen surgery to remove the tumors, cutting away the masses along her breast to relieve her, essentially allowing her to live cancer-free.

On her road to recovery, Bella will see nothing less than the family that loves her so much assist her back to good health. I strongly feel Bella has more time under her belt and ask for help to get over this hurdle of driving down the cost of her surgery. With a humble heart, I would appreciate any donations to assist Bella in her surgery costs, medication, and post-surgery appointments. I will provide updates from pictures, videos to FaceTime calls. Colma Vet in Colma, CA is where she is currently being treated. The office has been so helpful during this time, accommodating Bella's needs at every appointment and working quickly to not keep me in the dark when I have my million and one questions and concerns regarding Bella's health.
