Meet Bella.

Bella is a 6 year old Yorkie-Maltese mix. On July 9th, Bella suddenly collapsed, so we rushed her to the Emergency veterinary hospital. After a 3 night stay and many tests, she was diagnosed with pancreatitis, kidney disease, and Lyme nephritis. Now that she is back home, I have been able to feed her out of my hand. It’s now been 18 days and lots of continued medications including subcutaneous fluids. She’s not out of the woods yet, and will require echocardiograms, additional blood work, and future treatment. We have incurred $10,000+ worth of medical charges as of this posting.

Bella is the best girl, and she deserves the opportunity to live a happy life. Currently she is responding very well to her medications, eating a prescription diet and has gained 1 pound back from the 5 she lost. If you are able to support Bella with a donation it will help to pay for her the ongoing care that she will need in the future. My goal for Bella is to give her the medical care she deserves. She’s my puppy, and has been a wonderful companion for these last 6 years.Hopefully, with the care we have already shown her, and will continue to show, Bella will return to being the happy and adventurous puppy we all love her for.
