Donate to Becky Frank's Breast Cancer Treatment

My sister, Becky Frank, is my hero. She brings the joy of her faith everywhere she goes, which now includes visits to and from Mayo in Rochester. Becky was diagnosed with Stage 3B Invasive Ductal Carcinoma HER2 Positive breast cancer on December 12, 2024. Her cancer is one of the most aggressive, but also thankfully, one of the most treatable forms of cancer. She is grateful to be getting the best care in the world at Mayo, but the process is long and expensive.

Becky will be going back and forth to Mayo every three weeks for mega doses of chemo (2- HER2 medications and 2 Chemo medications in one sitting) as well as other injections, blood draws, tests, etc. She will need to stay overnight each visit, some visits requiring two nights. We have figured out a cost estimate for the out-of-pocket expenses and with what we know now, it will be at least $7,000 between now and the end of her entire treatment plan. Once she's done with chemo (July 14), she will need surgery and radiation, so this will be a long journey, but she's determined to be a light every step of the way. She has "a peace that passes understanding" about the process, which is definitely attributed to her strong faith.

Becky and her family have been through so much with Becky's diagnosis, the recent loss of Craig's father, and Craig's recent shoulder repair surgery. So many of Becky's family and friends have been asking how they can help, so we're setting up a GoFundMe to help offset the out-of-pocket expenses. The expenses will no doubt end up being well over what's currently anticipated, so I'm setting an aggressive goal of $10k.

Becky's friends and family have already been so supportive with prayers, visits, care packages, and meals, which are sincerely appreciated. Please keep those things coming. If you have met Becky, you know being with her community - family, friends, church, youth group, boys' sporting events, etc. - brings her joy and energy, which is part of how Becky is staying so strong.

If you would like to donate to help offset medical costs, I know Becky and her family will be grateful for every dollar. Thank you all for your support and prayers. We believe strongly in the power of prayer and know Becky is going to be healed completely so she can continue to spread her joy and the light of her faith everywhere she goes. Thank you, all!
