Hello internet and assorted benefactors!

My name's Beatrice and I'm creating this campaign to help achieve my dream/desire to undergo FFS surgery!

It's been a long time coming! Not only in the lifespan of my five years of transition... But even when I was dreaming of the woman that I'd like to be, I still faced the obstacle of not believing I deserved something as costly as these series of procedures. My dream is to be able to do something wholly life-changing for me. In doing so, I refuse to place my family in a dire financial position. I'm a mother of a thirteen year old, and she's raised by the triumvirate of my co-parent/great friend Sharon, my little brother Joshua and I. Their support in this endeavor means everything to me, and my asking for this assistance has their well-being in mind, as much as my own.

For transparency, the funds will be allocated in these ways: maintaining our home and paying rent for up to two months of recovery, which accounts for 2,200 of the total cost. Secondarily, I know there will be things I need to help make my recovery more comfortable and my healing process smoother and so all remaining funds will go to preparing my room for a long rest period.
