Donate to Bear's Emergency Vet Care

Donation protected
On Thursday, our sister Leanna and her husband Glenn recently got a puppy named Bear that she is so excited to raise with her 10-year-old baby, Bentley.

On Friday, he started to show signs of being lethargic. He was throwing up and would not eat. She took him to the emergency vet, and they did a full exam and tested for parvovirus, which came out negative, and the vet released him. This morning, he started to show signs of being lethargic again and could barely hold himself up from being so weak. She rushed him to an emergency vet, and as they took him in, he was in critical condition with dangerously low glucose.

They were able to get him comfortable while being on an IV drip. The vet explained all possible outcomes to them and ultimately told them the two options would be to keep him stable for another 24 hours, which could result in over a $10k bill without knowing if he would survive after that, or to be put down.

As Leanna and Glenn were coming to the reality of making a decision, the vet came back and told them that the little guy started to fight on his own and was starting to eat again, which is giving them hope.

As all of Leanna and Glenn's friends and family know, they love their animals and will do almost anything to help them.

Talia & Noura are starting this GoFundMe to hopefully alleviate the costs it takes to save Bear and help Leanna and Glenn. Without knowing if they'll be able to go home with him or not today, any amount will help them. Thank you & we appreciate you taking the time to read this.
