Hi there! Barbara is an amazing human and doula who has touched the lives of the countless families she's served. Everyone who knows her is aware of how much love and care she brings to her work and her family. Being a doula, while an amazing job, is a self-employment hustle. When a doula cannot work and does not have expensive insurance, finances become precarious.

Barbara was recently diagnosed with cancer. She has been working while undergoing chemo treatments (which isn't easy). In January, Barbara will be undergoing the surgery that will, with all our prayers and good wishes, provide a cure. That surgery, however, will require 8 weeks minimum off work.
