Donation protected
As some of you might know, my friend Julie Klein’s baby girl Lennon was diagnosed with a Congenital Heart Defect called a Dysplastic Pulmonary Valve. Lennon had to be in the NICU to be monitored when she was a day old. While in the NICU her cardiac team observed her and implemented the best course of action. Lennon has been seen by multiple different cardiologists and has undergone several echocardiograms. It was the hope of her parents and the cardio team that her Pulmonary Valve would grow with the rest of her heart, however this is not showing to be the case. Lennon’s Pulmonary Valve will now require medical intervention. Lennon and her parents will have to travel to the Neumors Children’s Hospital in Orlando Florida for the procedure. This procedure will take place on November 12th. Over the course of that week Lennon will have preoperative and postoperative appointments as well as a hospital stay.
To alleviate some of the financial stress that goes along with having a medically needy infant, this "Go Fund Me" has been set up to assist the family with travel expenses, to include airfare, lodging and meals while they are in Orlando. Any extra funds that are received will go towards Lennon’s ongoing medical expenses.
