Allison has wanted to be a mom more than anything her whole life. After countless heartbreaks, losses, and multiple IVF failures, she finally got a positive pregnancy result this past September. Before she could even allow herself to become excited, she started having one complication after another and was put on bedrest by Halloween.

Unfortunately, the complications kept coming, and she went into preterm labor at 25 weeks. Perfect little baby Kasen was born at 26 weeks due to an infection, but it was also confirmed that he had a Coarctation of the Aorta, basically meaning there's a narrowing in the blood vessel that supplies blood to the lower half of his body. He will require heart surgery for this and has been dealing with blood pressure issues since birth. He has been making progress in some aspects, but this morning required emergency surgery to have part of his stomach removed.

Allison has already been out of work since November, and now Joseph is out as well. They need to be able to focus on being there for their miracle baby. They have a very long road ahead of them and could use all the prayers, positive thoughts, and help we can give them.
