I am reaching out on behalf of a loving family of soon to be four who are facing an incredibly difficult and emotional journey. Their unborn baby boy has been diagnosed with 2 serious congenital heart defects that will require life-saving open-heart surgery just 3–5 days after birth.

To give their baby the best possible care Abbie, Mike and Izabela must temporarily relocate to Boston, where a specialized team of doctors will perform the surgery and oversee the baby’s care in the NICU/CICU. This means uprooting their lives, leaving their jobs, and stepping into the unknown — all while caring for Izabela and preparing to welcome a medically fragile newborn.

Both parents will be out of work during this critical time, and the financial strain is overwhelming. They need support to cover:

* Temporary housing in Boston

* Medical and travel expenses

* Household bills back home while they are away

* Food and essentials for their family during this transition

This family is strong, loving, and resilient — but they can't do this alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, will help ease the heavy burden they are carrying and allow them to focus on what matters most: their baby’s health and healing.
