My sweet nephew Barrett came into this world against all odds. His birth was a miracle as he was born with a rare genetic condition called Lowe Syndrome. While he has been a fighter with the sweetest personality, his liver has not kept up with his fighting spirit. His liver is in worse shape than anticipated and his best chance at life is a speedy transplant from a living donor. This means my sister, her husband, and her 2 children will be following our Baby Barrett to Children's Hospital of Colorado from Arizona. This will require them to be temporary residents of Colorado for a few months. With the temporary relocation comes a whole new set of expenses for the family to be there for Baby Barrett.
