Dear Family and Friends,

My class has been raising money for our 8th grade trip this year. Our trip is to Maui, Hawaii in April. This will be a very special trip, it will be one of the best parts of our 8th grade year. In Hawaii we are going to do lots of fun things such as snorkeling and zip lining, and some slightly less fun (but still cool) things like hikes, a service project and learning. This is going to be an extremely fun trip full of memories and good times with friends.

We've been saving up for this big trip for a while now. We’ve been selling pizza every Friday. We also have bake sales every Wednesday (which is kind of annoying because I don’t like baking), but we make good money from it, so it's worth it. We're a little ways off from having all the money we need though, so for the last few months we’ve been training to run a 5k. We’re asking people to sponsor us to run the 5k and putting all donations towards our trip. This trip will be one of the biggest memories for us at this school before heading off to high school. If you would like to donate, any amount is greatly appreciated.
