Hello, I am Linda Franklin, Avery’s grandmother. I am doing a GoFundMe for my grandson, Avery. My daughter, Tara, being a single mother and self-employed, does not have medical insurance for herself or Avery. She was close to getting a plan she could afford when this unexpected illness hit Avery. Avery was tested positive for Epstein-Barr. The pain in his body and color blindness continue, causing the question of whether there is something else going on. Avery's medical costs have grown to more than Tara can handle. His illness has caused extreme pain, color blindness, and now deep depression, causing him to have suicidal thoughts. As a grandmother, this is heart-wrenching. I cannot comprehend what my daughter is going through.

Avery, before his illness, was an athlete enjoying running club in school and karate! Very active and joyful. He is now going to a therapist once a week to help him work through his suicidal thoughts. This is a weekly expense of $125 on top of the already accrued medical expenses.

I am asking for help during this very difficult time for Tara.
