Aloha friends, family, and community,
My name is Ava, and I’m the heart behind Kava Queen—a space where people come together to relax, connect, and experience the grounding traditions of kava. We started small, sharing a shop, learning as we went, and pouring our love into every cup. Now, it’s time for the next chapter: a standalone kava bar at the silos!
This move means:
✨ A space that’s just ours for gatherings, music, and cultural events
✨ Extended hours so you can see us in the daytime
✨ A full menu of traditional kava, creative kava drinks, and other drink options!!!
✨ A community hub that honors Pacific Island traditions while welcoming everyone
Opening this new space takes resources—furnishings, permits, supplies, and a build-out that matches the dream in my heart. As a small, independent business owner, I can’t do it alone. As fun and amazing my first year at the silos has been, it has also taken a tax on my mental & physical health. The bar never really got to a place where it was thriving. I have seven carpool tunnel in both of my hands and am just absolutely exhausted. I cannot wait to open during the day time as I feel it will life changing for my business. I love you all so much and am so grateful.
Your donation will help us create a warm, welcoming kava bar that celebrates culture, connection, and community.
