Donate to Ava's Spinal Surgery Fund

Hello, my name is Ava. I'm a 72 year old retired librarian, and I live alone in Fresno, California. I have a very small family; I have a daughter and a sister. Neither of them live in the Central Valley.

I have spinal stenosis, and I would like to improve my mobility, and eliminate the pain that is associated with my condition. Unfortunately, due to suffering from bipolar disorder, I cannot have steroid injections. Only surgery would resolve my problems. However, the surgeon who would operate on me accepts Medicare A, but he doesn't accept Medicare B. Therefore, my hospital stay and the anesthesia would be covered, but the doctor's fee would be not. The cost of the surgery is $9,000. I would very much appreciate it if you could help me raise the required amount.

It would be wonderful not becoming home-bound due to the gradual worsening of my spinal ailment.
