Donate to Ava's Healing and Care

My name is Evette and the lovely woman in the picture is my mother Ava. Over the past year, my strong, hard-working mother has struggled through the cracks of our medical system, dealing with cardiac issues, doctors that ignore her problems, and the struggle to get back on her feet physically to live her life. She has been trying to recover her previous strength while dealing with setback after setback. During this, I've coped with sudden job loss (and ongoing job search) and relocation.

We are paying hard-working people to help us give her the care she needs and therapy at home to get back on her feet, but after 6 months of scrounging every dollar, we are in need of help. She falls into the gap where she is not eligible for Medicaid, but does not have the money for the care she needs at home at this time. Every dollar donated will go directly to paying for her care and getting her back on her feet. My mother has worked hard her entire life and I am working to give her the care and chance she deserves.
