My name is Daniella, and I am reaching out to request donations for my family and friends in Jamaica who have been severely affected by Hurricane Melissa. My friends and I are currently residing in the Turks and Caicos Islands and are unable to provide the necessary support on our own.

Our families reside in severely affected areas such as Adelphi, Roehampton St. James, and Burnt Savannah, St. Elizabeth. While we are grateful that everyone is safe, the hurricane has caused significant damage to road infrastructure and created a critical lack of resources. This has made it incredibly difficult for them to access basic necessities like food and water. There is also major damage to our homes that will require starting over from scratch, leaving them with no place to call home.

Communication has also been challenging, and we are still struggling to connect properly with our loved ones. Any support you can offer, no matter how small, would greatly assist our families in getting back on their feet during this difficult time.
