Donate to assist Demetrius - Thank you

Hello everyone, I am Demetrius' partner, Janu, I have been asked by people who know Demetrius if I have a GoFundMe account to help Demetrius and me during this very difficult time. It was very kind of them to want to assist us with the additional costs.

Demetrius had a stroke the day before Thanksgiving and was moved immediately to Redwood City for 2 surgeries, on December 2nd he was moved to San Rafael Kaiser and will be moving to a rehabilitation center very soon.

I have been able to go to the hospital at least once a day every day since Thanksgiving. It means a lot to me to be there for him to ensure he is comfortable. I tell people it feels like we are in the movie Groundhog Day. We both are looking forward to the day after when D will be walking through our front door exclaiming "I AM HOME!."

The money raised will mainly be going toward transportation costs, gasoline, tolls, and wear and tear on his truck. I am also working less as I often spend over 5 hours a day going back and forth to the hospital.
