My name is Christen, and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend Ashley Bitner. Ashley is recovering from a grade 4 spleen laceration that caused internal bleeding, a broken nose, and head laceration.

All funds will go directly to support Ashley, in hopes to cover medical bills and time taken off to heal from her accident.

On May 24th, Ashley was a passenger in a car accident in Conroe, TX and was transferred to Memorial Hermann in the Woodlands. She spent seven days in ICU and required surgical intervention to reset her broken nose and an embolization to stop the internal bleeding from the spleen injury. Ashley has a long road of recovery ahead and we're unsure of what the future needs for her will be. Due to her job demands as an ICU nurse, she will not be able to return to work for 3-4 months.

Ashley still has a very long fight ahead of her.

Ashleys family & friends appreciate your prayers and support. Many have already been very generous, I know - thank you so very much. I am creating this GoFundMe in hopes that it has a wider reach because sadly their needs will not soon end.
