Hello World.

I wanted to introduce this beautiful person, beautiful inside and out.

This is my cousin, Ashley. Ashley is my best friend and also roommate of 15 years! Boy, we have been through it all!

Unfortunately, we are going through another rough time. I lost my job after 6 years with the same company due to changes to the job requirements and also internal ethics.

Ashley gave no hesitation to help with household necessities, including food, pet care (we have aging pets), gasoline, and toiletries. But she has been working so much harder these days just to make sure our monthly rent is covered. Ashley takes care of dogs for a living, and while she very much enjoys her job, sometimes the work opportunities are not always available. She also has been trying to find another additional job, but any job seeker out there knows that lately the job market has not been too fruitful and/or extremely competitive.

Ashley is doing her best to keep her head, and our whole family’s heads above water. She’s readily available with positive words and fight to keep us going. However, this fight is getting harder. She also is beginning to get into more financial debt trying to borrow to keep us afloat, including being unable to cover her own monthly bills.

I am asking if you have the capacity to support her with anything you find you can spare. I know that is asking a lot in these uncertain times. This would support the bills that she is past due on, pay back some of the debt from other sources she’s accrued supporting our family, and a small buffer while searching for another job/when the hours of her current job are lower.

I know that someday things will get better and I hope for you too, kind reader. Please know your generosity would be going to a most deserving person. She would be the last person to say she deserves this kind of support, but if you knew her you would know how much she would be humbled and so grateful.
