Arturo and Yolanda have four wonderful children and have always worked hard to provide for their family.

Arturo worked 7 days a week until Sunday, November 17th. After ending his overnight shift, he was on his way home when a speeding vehicle struck his van on the driver's front side. The van rolled a few times, coming to rest in a ditch.

The person responsible for the accident fled on foot and has not been found. Arturo is lucky to be alive due to his seatbelt and God's grace. Arturo sustained several serious injuries and has barely begun his journey to healing his broken ribs, clavicle, shoulder, and bruised lungs, all of which must be monitored closely.

His wife Yolanda and eldest daughter are trying to do what they can to make ends meet, however the loss of Arturo's income is very difficult for the family, especially with the upcoming holiday season.

Doctors don't know when Arturo will be able to go back to work or if he will need to look for a different job. At present, he is still not able to do many things because of the intense pain associated with his injuries.

Arturo y Yolanda tienen cuatro hijos maravillosos y siempre han trabajado duro para mantener a su familia.

Arturo trabajó 7 días a la semana hasta el domingo 17 de noviembre. Después de terminar su turno nocturno, se dirigía a su casa cuando un vehículo a alta velocidad golpeó su camioneta en la parte delantera del conductor. La camioneta rodó varias veces y se detuvo en una zanja.

El responsable del accidente huyó a pie y no ha sido encontrado. Arturo tiene suerte de estar vivo gracias a su cinturón de seguridad y a la gracia de Dios. Arturo sufrió varias lesiones graves y apenas ha comenzado su viaje para sanar sus costillas rotas, clavícula, hombro y pulmones magullados, todos los cuales deben ser monitoreados de cerca.

Su esposa Yolanda y su hija mayor están tratando de hacer lo que pueden para llegar a fin de mes, sin embargo, la pérdida de los ingresos de Arturo es muy difícil para la familia, especialmente con la próxima temporada navideña.

Los médicos no saben cuándo Arturo podrá volver a trabajar o tendrá que buscar otro trabajo. En la actualidad, todavía no puede hacer muchas cosas debido al intenso dolor asociado con sus lesiones.
