Hello everyone, I’m starting a GoFundMe for Art. As many of you know, he’s been in and out of the hospital. He’s been in the hospital since March 18th, and he is getting IV meds still. He will be able to go home with the medicine, but it will be an IV. Art is on Milrinone infusions and will need a visiting nurse after rehab. The doctor said he will be on this medication for 2-3 months to try and keep his kidney levels stable and make his heart stronger. Art will be getting a heart transplant in 2-3 months when they stop this medication. They need to do more testing as an outpatient because they can’t do certain testing while hospitalized. Right now, his heart is just too weak for a transplant, and they are doing everything they can to make his heart stronger so he can get a transplant. If he went to get the transplant now, the doctor said he will not make it through the procedure. Art will not be able to return to work, so he will need help with his rent, utilities, food, and money for gas to get to and from his appointments.
