My name is Elizabeth Lopez, and I’m a proud board member of Arlington Little League in Riverside, CA—and even prouder to be a parent of one of the amazing players on our Intermediate 50/70 team.

I’ve had the privilege of watching these boys grow not just as athletes, but as a true family—working hard, pushing through challenges, and achieving something no team in our league has ever done before. Their journey has inspired me deeply, and as both a parent and volunteer, I’m committed to helping them and future teams get the resources they deserve.

This GoFundMe is personal for me—not just because my son is on the team, but because I’ve seen firsthand how much heart, sacrifice, and dedication these kids and coaches have poured into this season. It’s time we give them a proper home field to match their championship spirit.

For the first time in Arlington Little League history, our Intermediate 50/70 baseball team in Riverside, CA has made it to the State Championships—after winning the Tournament of Champions, All-Stars, and District titles. This team is more than a group of talented players—they are a symbol of grit, heart, and what can be achieved when no one else believes in you.

What makes their story even more inspiring?

➡️ This is the first-ever Intermediate 50/70 team in Arlington Little League history

➡️ They don’t have a home field of their own to play on

➡️ They’ve had to borrow fields from nearby parks all season

➡️ They just beat powerhouse Eastvale in a 1-0 battle and won the championship 12-4

➡️ They’re heading to San Diego for State this Wednesday—making league history!

Despite being overlooked—even by our own district—these incredible 11-13 year old's and their coaches have made the impossible possible.

Now, it’s time to give them the field they deserve.

The City of Riverside has approved plans to designate a home field for Arlington's Intermediate division—but the park currently does not have the funding to move forward. We’re receiving quotes around $18,000 to make the necessary upgrades and improvements to create a safe, regulation field where these kids (and future generations) can play, practice, and grow.

We’re calling on our community and supporters everywhere to help us raise $18,000 to build Arlington Little League’s first Intermediate field.
