Hi, I recently found out my dog Apollo has heart problems. He was diagnosed with degenerative valve disease and an enlarged heart. Because of this, his need for surgery for two masses has been expedited due to increased risk for anesthesia, which will continue to become more dangerous the longer we wait. His healthcare has gotten increasingly expensive as he recently had imaging done to diagnose the issues, two emergency vet visits, and has been put on medication that costs $320 for a 50-day supply, which he will need to be on for the remainder of his life.
