About 2 months ago my friend Anway Gambrell received the best news. After 2 years on the transplant list they finally had a kidney for him. Surgery went great. His job allowed him to use all his vacation and sick time for the surgery. Life was going well and he returned to work. On his second day back he collapsed at work and was transported by ambulance to the hospital. He died for 5 minutes before the miracle doctors and nurses brought him back. The next step was to install a defibrillator in his heart so here came another surgery. As family, friends and coworkers we are trying to raise $10,000 to help with medical cost and everyday life.
