Hi, I’m Annie!

Recently, I unexpectedly found myself becoming an accidental cat rescue. It started when five stray cats showed up at my house. One of them, a sweet mama cat I've named Millie, gave birth to four adorable but feral kittens under my parents' deck.

Now, I’m caring for nine stray cats:

• 2 adults,

• 3 teenage cats,

• And 4 kittens who are currently between 7 and 8 weeks old.

While this has been an incredibly rewarding journey, it’s also been overwhelming and expensive as an individual who's just trying her best to help some animals in need. Unfortunately, the humane society in my county is out of funds for spay and neuter programs, and there seem to be no other low-cost clinics or trap-and-release organizations around. When I've called other counties, they say that I'm out of their area and they already have so much to do in their own neighborhoods.

My mission is to ensure that all nine cats get the proper care they need—spaying, neutering, vaccinations, and supplies—so they can live healthy lives and find loving forever homes.

The funds raised will go toward:

• Spaying/neutering all nine cats to prevent more stray litters.

• Vaccinations and vet care to keep them healthy.

• Supplies like food, litter, and kitten care essentials (amazon wishlist is available, but I've noticed that some of the prices for food and things are really high there compared to in-store)

• Deworming, monthly flea and tick meditation for all cats & more

As an individual doing this on my own, any support means the world to me—and to these cats. Whether it’s donating, sharing this campaign, or simply spreading the word about these kitties, every bit helps.
