Donate to Anna Kuyava's Healing Journey

On Friday, September 20, 2024, Anna Kuyava was shopping at Costco and had an episode that led to her being rushed to M Health Fairview Southdale Hospital. They found a mass in the left side of her brain, about the size of a golf ball. Additionally, cancerous cells were found in her brain, along with the mass that will require radiation.

Anna will undergo surgery at 3 pm today, September 24th, to remove the mass, biopsy, and provide additional answers for next steps. The surgery should take 3-4 hours, then a few days for the results of the biopsy. Since this tumor is on the left side of her brain, they are unsure of how this may affect her speech and other aspects of her life. Anna is faithfully optimistic and ready to fight whatever comes her way, with God on her side. Therapy will be required, and radiation will begin 6 weeks post-op.
