On September 19, 2025, Ann underwent a left below-the-knee amputation (BKA). This was unfortunately a necessary surgery after years of complications originating from foot and ankle surgeries in 2008.

Ann will now begin a long journey which will include months of physical and occupational therapy, wound healing, pain management, and learning to adapt to a new reality.

We are starting this campaign in order to help with the current and ongoing medical expenses Ann will have, including therapy services, various leg prostheses, and other necessary medical equipment. This fund will also help to take care of everyday life expenses, as Ann will be out of work for an unknown amount of time. Any donation will be greatly appreciated and utilized to help Ann focus on her recovery and return to an active and fulfilling life.
