I'm Nia, Angela's eldest daughter of 3. On October 26th of this year, my mother Angela passed on. She fainted a few times and was rushed to the hospital due to cardiac arrest. She was incredibly strong, and the first responders and hospital staff did everything they could to save her.

At the scene were my two younger sisters. The youngest, Morgan reached out to me that night and let me know what happened. I got them and brought them back to my apartment. That night and all the next day, we called different hospitals trying to find our mom because the hospital provided to Morgan at the time didn't have any record of her. We went to the hospital in person too, and no news. I got the call Monday night on October 27th that our mother was gone.

With the help of a close family friend, I've located a crematory where we can carry out our mother's wishes to be cremated. We're going to plan a memorial service for her so she can get a proper sendoff. Additionally, I'll be working to immediately gain custody of my youngest sister, Morgan and guardianship for my mentally & physically disabled sister, Jasmine. They don't have much, and I need to get them everything from clothes, shoes, school supplies, a bed, and more.

In this GoFundMe, I'm asking for support with covering memorial costs, which are close to $2,400, and the rest is to cover any legal costs or bills for this transition and so I can purchase items my sisters need to get acclimated into my apartment. It's not everything we need, but it'll be a good start.
