Hi everyone! My name is Angela Cortes-Vargas, and I’m a third-year college student at CSUSB, just three semesters away from earning my bachelor's degree! My college journey has been full of challenges, but it has also opened my eyes to incredible opportunities—one of which is the chance to study abroad in Italy this summer!

Growing up, my travels were limited to visiting Mexico with my mom or Mexicali with my dad. I’ve always dreamed of experiencing new cultures, and now I have the opportunity to immerse myself in Italy’s rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and world-renowned art and cuisine. This trip would be a life-changing experience, allowing me to step out of my comfort zone and gain a global perspective on education and culture.

As an introvert, this is also a huge step for me—one that pushes me toward personal growth, independence, and confidence. But I can’t do it alone. I need your help to make this dream a reality.
