The Yu family remains deeply grateful for the outpouring of kindness, encouragement, and support. We’re happy to share that Angela will be returning to work on August 4th.

Help the Yu Family Rebuild After Total Home Loss – Matching Challenge in Effect!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of so many, the Yu family has taken their first steps toward recovery after losing their home. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who has rallied together in support — and we want to share an update and an exciting opportunity to double the impact of your giving.

Update:

With your help, the Yu family has been able to move into temporary housing as of this past

weekend. While their original home was a total loss, reconstruction will be underway in the

near future. Prior to launching this GoFundMe, co-workers had already raised about $8,500. Combined with the nearly $12,000 raised here, we've now gathered just over $20,000 in support!

Now, here’s the challenge:

PREIT has generously offered to match 100% of all donations raised. That means every dollar you give will be doubled, helping the Yu family cover essential needs in their temporary housing and begin rebuilding their lives once their new home is complete.

As you may have heard, one of our team members, Angela Yu, suffered a tragic loss due to a fire emergency at her residence. Angela, Manager Legal, has been with PREIT for over 20 years. She has committed herself all these years to support the business. PREIT now wants to be there for her during this difficult time. As this was a total loss and will take time for her and her family to be reestablished and settled, we want to provide the ongoing opportunity for people to donate. There was some initial support provided but we know there are additional hurdles for the Yu family as they work to rebuild.
