Hi, I am Helen. I am Angela McAfee's sister. My sister has been in the ICU for almost 2 weeks with severe complications from pneumonia and has been unresponsive to any and all treatments. They are trying all life-saving measures, but it is in God's hands. Angela has struggled most of her life from remission from non-Hodgkin's at the age of 26 to breast cancer and multiple visits and surgeries for related lung complications. She has always worked hard despite her illness and was a daycare teacher for decades. She loved and doted on all the children she cared for and was loved by so many for her kindness and caring for not only her family, husband, and 2 sons but for everyone she knew. She had a passion for gardening and grew some of the most beautiful flowers and had a great love for all animals, from the raccoons, squirrels, and every kind of bird that visited her patio. She recently adopted a new kitten named Miles that she so loved, as well as her other 2 cats, Arya and Zach. She loved to cook and bake and share her food with everyone. She was so full of life and love and gave 100% even when she felt her worst.

She recently became a first-time grandma 6 months ago, and she loved her new granddaughter so much. She was so looking forward to the holidays with her. The medical bills and the ability to continue insurance have placed a heavy burden on the family, so any help would be greatly appreciated and help one of the most beloved persons who gave so much and has always wanted so little. We are devastated, and this is such a terrible time for Angela and for those who know and love her.
