Hello, my name is Andrea. On February 17th, I was involved in a pedestrian accident. I was hit by a car while using the crosswalk and unfortunately, my right leg was broken in the accident. I suffered a broken tibia and fibula and had to have 2 surgeries. I had an intramedullary nail rod with 15 screws installed in my right leg. Because of my injury, I will be out from work for 6-9 months. My life changed forever that day and I started falling behind on bills and car payments. It is going to be a long and painful recovery and I am asking for any help on my situation.
