Hello, my name is Taniyah. I am the oldest daughter of 4 to my mother Andrea. She has a 12 year old girl, 15 year old boy, 24 year old son, then I am 21 years old. My mother was first diagnosed with Stage 2 breast cancer in 2015, right after her mother passed. Since 2015, she has had undergone multiple rounds of chemotherapy & radiation treatment. She also had a Lumpectomy in 2016, along with multiple lymph nodes taking out of her left armpit. Her cancer went into remission for 7 years in 2016 after she completed treatment and surgery. In 2022, she took a fall and had severe pain in her left leg so we went to Hershey Med to get an X-ray to find out if something was wrong. Come to find out they found a lesion that was cancerous on her Left femur bone. So she started chemotherapy again, and radiation as well. She also had to have surgery and a rod put in on her left femur bone. She then completed treatment and radiation and was put into remission once again. Come 2024, she started to have double vision in her right eye, and slight headaches. Her doctors ordered a brain CT scan, they then found multiple cancer tumors in her brain. August of 2024 she was transferred to Presbyterian hospital in Pittsburgh for brain surgery and gammaknife treatment where she was for 2 weeks. At that point my mom could no longer work, or continue her daily life routines. After a long road of recovery from her brain surgery she started chemotherapy again, where she got severely sick and at one point the chemo was damaging her heart, so she could not resume treatment at the time. She was placed in Osteopathic hospital for 2 weeks in December 2024 right before Christmas. Thats when her doctors decided it was best for her to transition into Hospice care because of the severity of her prognosis. She was giving months to live, at that point. She is home resting, while we are hoping for a miracle we are also preparing for the worst. As it hurts to see our mothers life change so quick, it has taken a toll on us. At this time of her not working, she no longer has Life insurance shall her time come. I am also struggling to keep up with monthly bills due to me not being able to work because i am her sole caregiver, also i am caring for my younger siblings. Over the past years it has been very difficult for my mother Andrea, and also for us to see her go through everything she has been through. Our mom is a Single hard working mother of 4. She has also been a provider for us, and has done a wonderful job raising us. I know it hurts her to know that she can no longer provide, financially but she continues to do what she can for us physically and soaking up time with her younger babies. She has been amazing, and now she is focusing on fighting her cancer at home and wanting to be here to watch her 2 youngest graduate. Anything you can donate will be a huge help to us, and please please many prayers are needed. The doctors can say one thing, but God has the final answer. He is whom we believe in. We truly appreciate it! Thankyou!!! God Bless!
