Our Mission

We, Liz Walker and Wolfgang Castello, are standing beside our best friend Amy Oberer as she faces one of the hardest battles of her life: the beginning of her fight Triple Negative breast cancer because that is what makes her particular situation so serious and why she’ll be doing 9-12 months of chemo + radiation. She is just starting an intense journey of chemotherapy and radiation, a path filled with uncertainty and challenges. Her strength inspires us every day, but the reality is that courage alone cannot cover the mounting costs of treatment.

Like so many in Los Angeles, her family has been deeply affected by the downturn in the film industry, leaving them with limited job opportunities and financial strain. Now, on top of daily challenges, they are facing medical bills, copays, and essential procedures that health insurance simply will not cover.

Our mission is clear and urgent: to rally a community of love, generosity, and compassion around our friend and her family, so they can focus fully on healing—not on the crushing weight of financial stress.
