Hi, my name is Amethyst!

As some of you may know, I’ve been paralyzed from the chest down since May 2019 due to a spinal cord injury.

I’m not usually one to ask for help, but I’m reaching out through this GoFundMe to raise funds so I can continue attending physical therapy twice a week, totaling 4 hours each week.

I’ve been making amazing progress—gaining strength, improving my standing, and even working toward walking again. These sessions are essential for me to maintain and build on this progress, helping me move toward living a more independent life.

Unfortunately, this specialized, exercise-based therapy isn’t covered by insurance, and I’ve been paying $130 an hour out of pocket. As you can imagine, this has become a significant financial burden, which is why I’m asking for support to keep going.
