Hello. My name is Amanda and I'm 38 years old. I created this fundraiser in hopes to raise some money that I will be able to live on while preparing for and recovering from spinal surgery. Update as of 6/14/25 - I finally got my ALJ hearing date... I unfortunately can't work and will be having this spine surgery in the next 12 weeks. Any donations, any amount, helps.

I've had 4 falls since December and finally found out why. My L5-S1 is completely disintegrated and collapsed on the nerves due to stage 4 osteoarthritis. The spinal surgeon said if I don't have this done, the likelihood of me becoming paralyzed is pretty great given the nerves are completely compressed between bone. The surgery will be sometime in the next 3 months and I am unable to work due to the severe pain in my lower back.

Any donations are greatly appreciated. It is also a very long recovery so I obviously won't be able to work during recovery. Even part-time work right now is very painful as it hurts to stand, walk, bend, etc. I'm currently awaiting SSDI approval with the help of my attorney. Any help is greatly appreciated as this is going to be a life changing surgery. Thank you for your time
