Good day,

It is with humility and sadness that I am coming to this community to ask for assistance with medical bills. I am so fortunate to have been able to raise funds in the past through this platform.

For those who don't know my story, I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer in September of last year after a routine mammogram. My world was turned upside down. I had to leave my job (therapist at a correctional facility) due to an immune system that could no longer handle the germy work environment. I found myself staring at a mountain of medical bills and a short-term disability income (approximately 1/3).

And my friends asked for help and boy did it show up! I have been able to pay my medical bills and keep up on necessities.

I now, however, have had to take on new insurance that has a new out-of-pocket maximum. This means that (yes, I am absolutely blessed to have insurance) I am responsible for a new $10,000 before I will be able to relax a bit. And so I am turning once again to the community who has been so helpful in the past.

I am grateful for anything that you can contribute to help me out of this current situation.
