My sister, Amanda Morseon was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in June of this year, 2024. Amanda is a young mother, a sister, a daughter, a family member, a friend, a passionate woman deeply involved in her local and online communities, and a supporter and lover to all. Amanda has always been a leader, an organizer, and a giver. She is the kind of woman you want on your side, she has always pushed everyone to be their best and most healed selves, she’s a ferocious lover, and fighter in and for life.
Recently our mother has had a life threatening stroke, and Amanda has also taken of full time caregiving in the middle of her battle with chemo to support our mother as she heals and navigates life in a new way.
Right now our family, and Amanda in particular need support more than ever to make sure Amanda can continue to be with us, not just in the love we receive with her presence, but in the way she supports and loves others as a sister, a daughter, and a mother. Amanda deserves to make it through this. She has expressed so much gratitude for the way our community has shown up for her along this journey so far. So many loving hearts, precious people, have made themselves known as lovers and supporters. Some of you because you know Amanda, some because you have been touched yourself by similar circumstances, some merely because your hearts are fierce, and loving, and you bring light and support to the world.
We are reaching out to our community again at this time, to help relieve Amanda of financial hardship and stress as she navigates a journey that has increased in hardship in just these past weeks, to ask for support for our family as we find a new path forward.
We are deeply grateful for the love, and the presence of our community, friends, and supporters at this time.
