On January 27, 2025, at 3:45 PM, my beloved sister Amanda Edwards lost her courageous battle with cancer. After being diagnosed with cervical cancer, she faced tremendous hardships as the illness spread to her lymph nodes and lungs. Amanda was not just a sister; she was a mother, a loving daughter, an inspiring aunt, a niece, and a cherished friend. Despite the struggles she encountered, she was bravely turning a new chapter in her life. Having just earned her bachelor's degree, Amanda was filled with hope and excitement as she looked forward to starting her career as an addiction counselor. She had dreams of one day opening her own practice to offer support and guidance to those who needed it most.

Tragically, her journey took an unexpected turn, and we are heartbroken that she could not fulfill those dreams. Yet, we take comfort in knowing that she is no longer in pain. Amanda is surrounded by the love of those who have gone before her, watching over her family from above. Her spirit and the love she shared will forever remain in our hearts.
