Hi Y’all!!

 My name is Alissa Bear Killer, and I’m reaching out during a challenging time for my daughter and I.

In May, I broke my left leg in three places, and as the sole provider for our home, this injury has created significant barriers to earning an income. Over the past five months, I’ve been slowly recovering, but I’m not yet able to work full-time. On top of this, the recent SNAP/EBT shutdown has left us facing food insecurity, adding to our struggles.

 Thanks to the kindness of a local church, we received $400 towards our December rent, but we still need about $400 to cover the remaining amount.

I’ve been sharing updates on our fundraiser, including pictures showing how the funds raised have helped us so far.
