I’m helping my friend Alishia Keef raise funds to cover her medical expenses after she was diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease on July 11th, 2024. The diagnosis came after an ER visit, initially for suspected appendicitis. A CT scan revealed a cecal neoplasm, leading to a colonoscopy and biopsies, which confirmed advanced Crohn’s Disease and precancerous spots in her cecum. Alishia has begun a two-month trial of Budesonide to suppress her immune system and has started a lifelong course of immunosuppressive biologics.
