Hi everyone, my name is Alicia. I do TNR for community feral cats around my neighborhood. I am looking to raise funds to protect community cats who all need our help. All proceeds will go to the community cats who will be fixed, dewormed & up to date on shots! They are very important and should not be ignored. Without fixing them will only keep the population growing. Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is one of the most compassionate and effective ways to care for community cats while also protecting the neighborhoods they live in. One of the most alarming truths about unspayed cats is how quickly their population can spiral out of control. Just one pair of cats and their offspring can produce over 400,000 kittens in just seven years if left unaltered. A single female cat can go into heat as early as four to five months old and may have up to three litters per year, often with four to six kittens each time. Without being fixed, this constant cycle of reproduction leads to overcrowding, competition for food, and the spread of diseases among cats. TNR stops this cycle by humanely trapping, spaying or neutering, vaccinating, and returning cats to their familiar environment where they can no longer reproduce. This not only helps keep the cat population under control, but also makes the area cleaner and quieter, no more loud mating noises or territorial fighting, and fewer kittens being born into dangerous conditions. By fixing cats in a timely manner, especially before their first heat, we prevent countless litters from being born into hardship, reduce the risk of certain cancers and infections in the cats, and build a healthier, more balanced relationship between people and the animals that share their space. TNR is truly a life-saving, community-strengthening act of kindness.
