Today marks one year since the car accident that drastically changed my life. What followed has been an incredibly difficult journey filled with pain, surgeries, and setbacks.

I sustained multiple injuries, including a severe femur fracture that has yet to heal properly. After undergoing a nonunion surgery eight months post-accident, the bone still hasn’t healed. I’m now six months into recovery from a second femur surgery, and unfortunately, I’ve just learned that I’ll need a third surgery to try again. This is all very shocking and unusual, even the doctors don’t know why this Is happening.

I’ll also be undergoing another procedure to repair tendon damage in my calcaneus related to the same fracture.

This journey has tested me in every way, I’ve learned that I’m stronger than I thought, mentally and physically. Although I am in lots of pain I’ve kept the biggest smile on my face, I push through, (literally, I’ve been walking on two broken limbs with no assistance for months now) and I’m asking for your continued prayers and support. I’ve launched a GoFundMe to help with the financial strain of ongoing medical treatments and recovery. Every dollar not used for my care and recovery will be donated to another individual suffering from a nonunion fracture, in hopes of easing their burden as well.
