Hello friends and family,

My very good friend and coworker Alexis O'Leary needs a little financial help during this tough time in her life. She is a 24 year old mom of two (2 year old and 10 month old) who has been currently battling papillary thyroid cancer. She received an ultrasound while pregnant in July of 2024 and had to wait until November 2024 when she was no longer pregnant to get a biopsy. That's when she was diagnosed at two months postpartum. Since then she has taken time off to have a total thyroidecyomy in December. This was in hopes to remove everything but they found that she also needs some radiation therapy. So she made the plan with her surgeon to get radiation July of this year and discontinue breastfeeding. That being said she will be out of work for at least 2 weeks until she knows for sure how long she will need to isolate after the radiation treatment. She also doesn't know when she will be able to return to work either. While Childcare alone is beyond expensive, and she only has the capability of working a few days a week leading up until she is taken out, unfortunately it just isn’t paying the bills.

With her radiation treatment starting within the next week, she’ll be out of work, and she is terrified of her bills racking up. She already used her PFL for her maternity leave this year, so she is not left with many other options. So please, if you have even a dollar to help her towards rent, car payment, insurance, essential groceries, diapers, formula, dog food, gas for to and from treatment, etc., it would mean the absolute world to her and her kids. If you don't have the extra money right now, I totally understand, please at least share for us and keep her in your prayers! Thank you so much in advance ❤️
